Confirmation Faith Connection
A new process for students beginning in Grade 7 for confirmation
For Lutherans, Confirmation is a public affirmation of a person's baptismal faith through a process of catechesis (questions and answers) and training in the basics of our faith.
Pastor leads our 7th and 8th Grade Confirmation (or any Age) students through an in-depth study of the Bible and Martin Luther's Small Catechism.
Following this successful completion, the students are then Confirmed through the Rite of Confirmation, which includes their receiving Holy Communion. This generally occurs on Palm Sunday.
